Bangalore Naattkal Review 2016 Film

First things first, Director Bhaskar's Bangalore Naatkal is a direct rip of from its original title Bangalore Days which was a blockbuster in Malayalam. The movie continues to lure the film fans even today. Bangalore Natkal tell the story of 3 cousins Arya, Bobby Simha and Divya Shri who are born and brought up together. The pace in life takes them to different junctures. Bobby Moves to Bangalore to work for an IT firm, when Arya too moves to Bangalore to join the bikers club. This is when Divya Shri's wedding is announced with Rana and Both Arya and Bobby reaches back to their home town in Tamil Nadu to celebrate the wedding.

Post wedding Arya and Bobby along with Divya and Rana moves to Bangalore. Finding tough to adjust with the fast pace of Bangalore life she struggles to find friends in a lonely apartment. And well why so, primarily because Rana her husband had a love failure which keeps him away from the life of his newly married wife Divya. well will Divya convince and conquer the heart of Rana, forms one part of the story ?... Well Rana has a past which is very interesting, i don't want to reveal too much on that. Watch the movie to know that...

On the other fun filled side Bobby, Arya joins Divya Shri in Bangalore to make sure that she is not alone and she is having a happy time in the Garden city, so both Bobby and Arya decides to give Divya a city tour which she loves, while Rana continue to ignore Divya Bobby and Arya keeps her life going. Its during this happy times that Arya comes across a cute but handicapped RJ who steal his heart, who is she what is their story, here again i don't want to divulge too much of a story line. Well forgot to tell you Arya too has a naughty past and a really romantic present. Checkout the movie.

Forgot to tell about Bobby and his love interest Laxmi Rai, well, our hero Bobby Simha works in an IT firm who one fine day crashes across a gorgeous looking Rai Lakshmi and falls instantly in love with her, well its quite funny the sequences after that, which shows Bobby's time with Laxmi, that again is a little part which adds a bit of romantic comedy flavor to Banglore Naattkal.

There are more characters in the movie which gives the feel of a family entertainer, for instance Bobby Simha's Mother who comes to Bangalore City after his Father's death is a mix bag of some extremely funny and thought provoking sequences.

But, on the whole the movie is a mix bag of emotions, comedy and some extremely colorful songs, but still there is a lack of soul in it compared to the original Bangalore Days by Anjali Menon, primarily to blame the casting. Arya, Bobby, Divya, Rana all have done their bit, but there is lack of connect between the characters which makes things look a little staged. Even though the movie can be a good entertainer to the family audience, it might not last too long at the box-office race, well how the people will welcome the movie, is yet to be seen. Good Luck.

I will go with a courteous 3 out of 5 for Bhaskar's Bangalore Naattkal.
