Akashvani is an interesting title to have for a movie.It instantly connects with the audience. After all which Malayali is not familiar with the name.But Khais Millen's directorial debut is about Akash and Vani and their union is Akashvani.It is a take on the ups and downs in marital life of a couple.

Vinod Jaya Kumar hasn't experimented with the script and sticks to a conventional style.Music and cinematography are not a let down by any means though there isn't anything pretty remarkable.As I said at the beginning Akashvani is an attempt to exhaustively examine a marital relationship. Though it doesn't offer anything unseen it does manage to hold our interest to a fair degree.The film has its moments and Khais Millen shows that he has the mettle to thrive in the industry as a filmmaker of real potential.
